Sherried Beef Stew

Ingredients
3 pounds stew meat
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup sherry
1 small jar chopped mushrooms

Mix all ingredients together. Cover. Cook 4-6 hours on high or 8-12 hours on low. Could alternatively be baked, covered at 325 degrees. Serve over rice or noodles.
